Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

hi I have custody of my granddaughter ( since she was a newborn) my daughter has lived with me but never did anything with her. she has had a b/f who moved in and molested the child he was reported by me and thrown out. she has moved out of my house with a new man whom I don't trust and my granddaughter doesn't like he screams in her face, threatned my granddaughter if she didn't let him dress her he would beat her. she refused to go with them, she is almost 9 now. do I have any chance of keeping her or would I have to give her back to her mother. I have proof I am the one that goes to all the school meeting, doctor appointments and whatever this child needs and her sister and brother needed I just couldn't keep them, my daughter is bi-polor and sever depression medication has been hospitalized many times for this even had herself admitted because she couldn't handle the kids. what are my chances I live in Jacksonville N.C please help me
