Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

My fiance is going to custody court and one of the claims is I Have PTSD. And supposedly It's been claimed I have not.taken my meds and been hospitalised due to that. I do take my meds and they are.for.depression and I.went voluntary to the VA for that reason. Do I have anything that I can do or.sue.for.due to that has nothing to.do.for.safety of the.child and I.feel like I'm.being descriminated against for.being a veteran. And now.my.personal health.is.being brought out in court. What can I do?

If you honestly believe that having PTSD or depression 'has nothing to.do.for.safety of the.child' then the other side is likely right in seeking to keep the child away from you. It appears you are taking this allegation personally when you don't really need to. You are not being discriminated against and of course your personal health is an issue. Having a mental illness like PTSD or depression is a legitimate concern regarding child custody but it doesn't automatically mean you are a safety risk - they will need to prove that.. As to what you can do - consult with your fiance's lawyer, discuss going to Court, testify that you take your meds and comply with your doctors treatment recommendations, perhaps even subpoena your doctor to testify on your behalf as to the risk you pose if any to the child, Best of luck!
