Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I have a home that I purchased at least a year before me and my fiance have been together. It's only in my name. She says if she leaves, she will have me removed from the home and her live here by herself until she can find somewhere to go. This is after I told her that I would go to the other room and set it up until she leaves and not bother her. She says she will just have me removed by cops and say she's scared of me. I'm not violent at all. What would I need to do?

She's talking about filing a fictitious domestic violence action against you. Happens all the time - one of the few areas where our justice has completely failed and you are basically guilty until you prove you are innocent. This is the complete opposite of how things are suppose to work. Depending on how smart she is she can indeed use the Court to remove you from your own home. Your only real defense to this is to some how get her on video bragging that this is what she is planning and then guard that video with your life.
