Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

A very short-term dating relationship ended in about 2 weeks. Now the woman says she is pregnant and is pressuring for marriage. I found out after that she had been dating someone else. But some of what she says doesn't add up. Is there a law that can require she show proof of the pregnancy (like some sort of paperwork from a doctor)?

The decision to marry a woman or not is not something that is or should be legislated. Do your own research and make your own decision. However, as a general rule you would want to be leary of a woman who is pressuring you to get married after a 2 week relationship due to pregnancy.
