Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Does a step parent have any "legal" rights to have - visitations, or financial responsibilities to their spouses children? This in case of a separation.

Step parents have no rights or obligations concerning a spouse's other children, legal or otherwise. You may be able to create such a 'right or obligation' thru a properly drafted Separation Agreement, if you can get your spouse to agree to it.
