What kind of damage can be done to a mistress being sued by the wife for alienation of affection? Can the mistress family be made to testify?

If the wife has sued the other woman, the other woman needs a lawyer NOW. Of course the other woman can be made to testify. She is the party being sued. If she does nothing, a money judgment will be entered against her. Whether she can pay it or not is a separate question. While there is no wage garnishment, the wronged wife can try and levy on the mistress' bank account, get a lien on any real property that the mistress owns or try and have the sheriff seize and sell any non-exempt property.
