Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina

Type Your Question Here...The reason why My wife and I need a joint sponsor is because we married in the Philippines and applied for our spousal visa while I was in the Philippines. We were given our requirements by our case worker, the NVC and the USCIS.

August of 2015 we had finished all of our documents and mailed them off to the USCIS. From there our documents were mailed to the US Embassy in Manila.

March 2016 we were notified by the USCIS telling us that we are lacking one requirement and needed to show that we have one or two joint sponsors for the reason that when we applied I wasn't working in the United States. Had I been in the country at the time when we applied for our visa then we wouldn't need a sponsor.

Therefor I am looking for help to bring my wife here in the United States. It's been over a year and a half from the last moment I saw my wife. I would be grateful for any help.

Based on the information you have provided, it appears that you just need to find a co-sponsor. An attorney cannot locate one for you. You can ask any U.S. citizen or U.S. legal permanent resident to assist you with this. They can be a friend, relative, co-worker, etc. For more information, please see:
