Insurance Settlement

I am receiving a settlement from a uninsured motorist claim. Do to the isurance companies policy of reimbursment of treat I have been unable to seek enough treatment for my injuries. There Settlement offer is rather low because it is based on what treatment I sought not what I need. How do I challenge the settlement amoout and petition for more.

You do not have to accept their settlement offer. You can simply make a counter-demand, and continue negotiating. And, you are entitled to recover your future medical bills also. These cases can become very difficult, and you may need an attorney to assist you. Also, you can typically demand arbitration of an uninsured (UM) claim, but likewise this is very complicated and you probably want the assistance of an attorney.
