Legal Question in Employment Law in North Carolina

after complaining about my shift leader, i was terminated for subordination without warning or notice. What can I do? I have plenty of witness that know this is not true.

Unfortunately, NC is an at-will work state meaning even if the reason for firing you was a lie, there is no recourse to get your job back. Your focus is getting your evidence together for an unemployment hearing.
