Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina

In a lease, it states who will be the occupants and also says, "The Tenant shall not allow or permit the Premises to be occupied or used as a residence by any person other than Tenant and the Permitted Occupants." If the tenants have additional people move in, what options does the landlord have in NC? Eviction? Any other options?

The option is eviction. The landlord can send a default notice to tell the tenants to remove the unauthorized person but from there, the next step is eviction.
