Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

Dear Sir/Madam,

My child was pushed down by a student on school bus in the morning. Her back head felt painful . We send her to emergency room in the evening, which cost us more than $500 dollars. The doctor said that my daughter had bruise inside her back head. We asked the boy parents to pay this bill, they refused. They claimed it was an accident because the school bus made a stop at that moment. My daughter was lying down on the seat with her both hands stretching up against the seats to prevent falling when she was pulled by the boy. My daughter was the only one falling down on the floor as the bus stopped. I have several questions: how can I get the boys parents pay the bill? If I go to the court what is the possibility that I win the case? Should school system be responsible for this accident and pay the bill? Thank you for your time.

Sincerely

Hui

How to get the boys parents to pay - sue them. Your odds of winning I would say are around 75% given the information you provided. If this happened on the bus then the school is also responsible.
