Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

my husband and children were involved in a car accident. Rear ended. The person at fault didn't even slow down before impact. Husband and children have sprain/strained necks and backs and some bruising. The car is sure to be totalled, but is worth about 2500.00 Kelly blue book value. What would be a reasonable settlement offer could we expect for all 3. My concern is any further issues we may with childrens backs....just not sure what a "fair" settlement would be. Thanks!

You haven't provided any where near the amount of information needed to properly determine what would be a fair settlement. However, in your case I would recommend going with an attorney that will charge 15% or less AND cap their fee at $2500 even if 15% is more than $2500 otherwise you could end up with too much of your familys settlement going to the attorney which is a problem in smaller cases.
