Legal Question in Product Liability in North Carolina
I purchased a part from a local part store that damaged my vehicle. Come to find out it was the wrong part. The salesperson and myself talked and looked at my vehicle for ten to fifteen minutes prior to the pirchase. I have talked to several repair shops as well as other parts stores in the areaand they have all told me that the store where I purchased the part from is liable for the damages and should cover the complete repair bill. I have been talking with that store and they are not willing to do so. So right now I am stuck with a $1700 repair bill.and I dont know

You can sue in small claims court to get them to cover the repair bill
