Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

prayer for judgement

I have two speeding tickets, and one prayer for judgement in the last one year. I got the second speeding ticket a few days ago. I was speeding 17 miles over the posted limit, which is 25 in school zone, and I got the ticket five minutes before 3:45. What can I do in court to reduce the effect on my insurance premium?. This five minutes is goint to cost to my legs and arms.

Re: prayer for judgement

much depends upon the record of all drivers under the policy/in the household. A PJC to a charge of speeding in a school zone will not help you with insurance points. I think it is in your interest to contact a lawyer and at the minimum, get the charged reduced to a simple speeding(not in a school zone). You'll most likely need to go to driving school by the DA. You'll still have some insurance points but they will be less than the points assocaited with speeding in a school zone. Best advice is to get a lawyer to assist you in minimizing the insurance consequences.
