Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

I received a ticket for speeding in Craven County. The officer said I was doing 73 in 55. He also said court was mandatory. The ticket says in the description I was doing 75 in a 55 but, under other information it says, under the speed section "R 73 M". Not sure why the discrepency in the description & speed. Is mandatory court related to 20 mph over? I live 6 hours away (out of state). Court is going to cost $70 in gas, $90 for hotel (to make 9am court) and 2 days of work.

Hire an attorney in Craven County. It will most likely be reduced, you won't lose your license and you won't have to appear.
