How do I petition the court to sell real estate for a decedent in Carteret county, North Carolina, where I am the administrator?

You draft a petition. You send to the judge and all beneficiaries. You schedule a hearing after the beneficiaries/heirs get a reasonable time to answer.

You are in way over your head. This is not something you do as a weekend do-it-yourself project. Before you turn this into an even bigger legal problem that is more costly to fix, I suggest that you contact a probate lawyer who practices in Carteret County.
