Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

A doctor has tsken me out of work,and my employer does not want me back.I have sick time with the company,however they will not give it to me unless I put in a letter of resignation.I did not quit and do not want it to look like I quit.What should I do?

If you have an acepted workers' comp claim and the Dr. has taken you out of work, you should be entitled to "temporary total disablity" benefits. These benefits are paid at 66 2/3 % of your average gross (pre-tax) wages for the 52 weeks preceding the date of your injury.
