You likely have a compensable claim that needs to be filed with the North Carolina Industrial Commission. You need to file a Form 18 (within 2 years of your injury date), Form 33 (request for hearing) if your case is denied by the insurance company and read the Bulletin regarding how the system works.

You are entitled to medical treatment, wage loss benefits and permanent partial benefits under the law.
