Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

I am involved in a workers comp case....for approx 12 years. I lived and worked in Baltimore, MD when the accident occured. My workers comp checks stopped suddenly 4 weeks ago. I have called my attorney almost daily.....mobile and office...and emailed him. This is the 6th week I have been trying to contact him and it seems like he refuses to return my calls. I am currently without any income due to this situation and am becoming more and more anxious and frustrated that he will not letmeknow what is going on. His recesptionist called on Monday to say that he had to meet with another attorney about my case and would call me on Wednesday. He did not call and has not called yet. I have absolutely no idea what to do or where to turn. Can you help me please?

Thank you,

Cheryl Stroud

If you cannot get reasonable communication from your Maryland lawyer, then call the Maryland State Bar and ask for help.
