Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

I have credit card debt and find the banks won't work with me. I'm sure they will sue. My question is, I have no job no bank account. I do have a home with equity but the home loan is in my husbands name. When they get a judgement what will happen other than my credit score going lower than it already is. Bankruptcy is not an option for me.

Your question does not cover all the details, but here goes. You have a property right in the house just by being a spouse. The bank could go after that interest as part of their collection efforts. The bank could, after getting a judgment, attach any personal property you have like a car or other belongings. You might want to consult with your local consumer credit counseling service. They help people with credit card debt for little or no fee.
