Doctrine of Necessary

My now deceased husband was admittied to a rehab center, there was a copay for his stay. The rehab center is now sueing me for the copay.I signed no fourm of finincal responciblty, Do i have to pay this bill?? My husband paased away 3 years ago.

No, you should not be liable for the copay, but that would be easier if you filed a probate estate. If you did that, then the creditor would have to file a claim against estate assets.
