Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

garnishment

Sent ''NOtice to Court proceeding to collect debt''. On the 15th day she sent us a money order for $25.00, but didn't fill out bottom of paper and send back (Payment to Avoid Garnishment). Can I still file the garnishment? What do I do with the money order? (The judgment was for $2100.00.)

Re: garnishment

I believe that you could still go and file the garnishment, as the payment sent is clearly less that would result from the defendant having a full time, minimum wage job.
