Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

I received a call yesterday stating a federal arrest warrant was issued for me for defaulting on a payday loan. The caller told me i could pay 734.13 to resolve the issue. He told me the safest way to pay would be by Western union or moneygram or moneypak. Should i be worried about this?

Such conduct would be a violation of the fair debt collection practices act. Further, defaulting on a payday loan would be a state court matter, not a federal matter. Lastly, defaulting on a loan may result in a civil judgment against you, but not an arrest warrant.
