Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Criminal Trespassing

My question concerns Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1)

(A) No person, shall without privlege to do so, shall do any of the following:

(1) Knowingly enter or remain on the land or premises of another

I'm trying to find out further clarification of the 1974 Committee Comment to H 511.

Division (A(1)is substantialy equivalent to the first part of former section 2909.21 of the Revised Code, except that the new section requires the offender knowingly enter or remain on the premises involved, Thus, unlike the formerlaw, an inadvertent intrusion is not a violation under this law.

Re: Criminal Trespassing

You can read the notes of the 1974 committee by visiting any law school and it may very well be accessible on line.

Of course, this is not the end of the line to define the law since there are probably hundreds of cases which further define the law's applicability.
