Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Stalking by estranged husband plus possible conspiracy

I am not sure whether to go to the FBI or my county prosecutor. I almost feel stupid that I let this go on for as long as I did but I was terrified.

About three years ago and this continued until about a month ago, a person I believe to be my estranged husband told me the FBI has been following me - this is a long story, but he has also pretended to be someone else and sent me IM's and emails that are sexually graphic, stating he was an FBI agent - i called the FBI but did not have the proof like I do now. I also received harassing and threatening phone calls. Because of this, I have lost my job, lost contact and possible custody of my daughters because I was terrified that something would happen to me. Also, a detective came to me and acccused me of making threatening phone calls. Now I believe my estranged husband had someone call this place and say it was me. I was also told if I had gone to any police authority something would happen to me. I called the Domestic Violence hotline and was told I have a very strong case against him since I can prove via the ip address where these letters, etc. are coming from. Should I go directly to FBI or County Prosecutor? I also had to move twice since then - my place was broken into.

Re: Stalking by estranged husband plus possible conspiracy

Start with either your city's prosecuter or county's, and sit down with them with all your evidence.
