witness questions in domestic violenc case

My husband is charged with assault and domestic violence and I am to be a witness for the prosecution. Can you give me some examples of questions I might be asked? It is up to the prosecutor to show guilt, but he hasn't asked for any evidence except for my police report. My husband's attorney thinks he can get the charges dropped, but he is quilty.

Re: witness questions in domestic violenc case

The prosecutor just wants to find out what happened and how you were injured and what you did about it. In other words did you go to the hospital. Presuming you have a strong case it will probably be up to you as to what happens to your husband whether it be jail or counseling or house arrest or any combination of the above. In order to get the facts out the prosecutor will probably just ask "And then what happened" Good luck and stay safe
