How old does a child have to be to leave one parents house to live with the other parent with out concent?

The law in Ohio changed several years ago. While it used to give a child over 12 years of age quite a bit of say over which parent he would live with, this is no longer the case.

Today, the Court has the final say on the child's residence. Upon motion of the parent, or at its own discretion, the Court may interview a child of any age as to his preferences. If the judge decides the child has sufficient reasoning ability, he will take the child's wishes into account in his decision.
