Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

False claim of fatherhood!

I was recently sued for 4 years of back child support for a child I didn't know existed. The lawsuit stated I should submit to genetic paternity testing or lose by default. I took the genetic test and the child is not mine. I paid an attorney $1500 to handle this case, drove 5 states to take a genetic test, and this lawsuit was spread throughout my chain of military command lowering their opinions of me greatly. Can I counter sue either the State of Ohio or the accusing mother for anything to get the money, emotional stress, or my reputation back?

Yes, you can probably sue. However, since I don't know where you are located, I would advise you to consult with a local attorney. It is almost impossible to give you reliable advice in this type of format without reviewing all the facts and circumstances.
