Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Have ETC of granddaughter since 10/2012, her mother is fighting for custody and she currently has visitation with daughter. We did our case Pro Se, had trial in Feb. of 2014 and currently waiting on decision from the Judge. Just recently mom was arrested for OMVI and license is suspended so she has been missing visits - no call, no show - we found out about this from other sources. Since we are in limbo waiting for the Judge's decision; through the mail?? Weird but true! Is it ok to file a motion to stop visits? We think that the mom will take off with daughter or cause harm.
