How Long Do You Have To Be Married In Ohio To Recive Alimony?

I've been married four about a year and a half and my wife and I have decided to seperate, but I think shes trying to take me. How long do you have to be married before you can recive alimony?

There is no rule of law that states the exact amount of alimony, but, the general rule of thumb is one year of alimony for every three years of marriage. Therefore, in your case, absent special circumstances, there should be no alimiony or spousal support.
