Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

can a parent take their children out of the state without the other parents consent? The couple is not seperated or divorced.

In Ohio, if there is no court order preventing it then a parent can take the children anywhere they would like. However, if you just go off and permanently disappear, a court, when litigation commences, may not trust you with custody.
