Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Am I legally obligated to continue to hold property for another person?

A friend asked me to keep some furniture for her (for a few weeks)so she didn't have to pay for storing it. It is 6 months later, I can no longer keep it and she won't come pick it up. How long am I legally obligated to keep this for her? I need to move and don't want to take it with me.

Make sure you can prove that you notified her that you are disposing it onto your curb through a letter. Give her a week to pick it up and warn her that it will be going onto the curb. There is no legal requirement on your part to hold it any longer.
