back round check question

I had a conviction in cuyahoga from 12 years ago, for passing a bad check. Can potental employeers still use that against me? How loong can they use it against me?

Unless you get it expunged, the conviction will be on your record for the rest of your life. Whether you are eligible for expungment depends upon a variety of factors, including whether you've had any other criminal convictions, either before or since. You really should consult an attorney.
