Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

I am a salary employee. I work Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. On top of my normal work schedule I am asked to work on weekends and evenings without pay or compensation days frenquently; which is more than 40 hours a week. I am on call one weekend a month and every Thursday. I am not paid for the on call shift and if I am called into work, I am not paid. I have kept track of all of the extra hours and days I have worked without compensation. Do I have a case?

The actions you state above, (if you are NON-EXEMPT) violate both federal and state wage and hour laws. You need to speak to an employment lawyer who can analyze whether you have been mis-classified as exempt.
