Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio

I live in Ohio. I signed a lease with two other people. My now ex girlfriend became very violent and I was forced to leave, I have had knives thrown at me, keys that split my face open, pots and pans, and much much more. I was force to leave for my own safety. I still have eight months on the lease, the three of us. The landlord is her niece, and just want her money, don't matter that I have safety issues. Is there a legal way I can get off of the lease, being they can pay for it?

In Ohio, problems between the tenants are not the fault of the landlord. If one tenant is making it impossible for you to live there, then you still owe your end of the rent, but you would have a lawsuit against the tenant who was doing the things that make it impossible for you to live there.
