If you have a lease the lease would control any notice you have to be given. If you are on a month to month lease the 30 day notice is sufficient and you have thirty days to move out. With that being said if you do not move out they will have to file an eviction.

In order to file an eviction they have to give you a 3 day notice to leave Once you receice this then they can file the eviction with the local municipal court. It will take approximately another 30 days to have the court remove you.

Something else to consinder is the day they gave you the 30 notice to leave. For example if they gave you the notice on Septmber 1 it would not be good until November 1. If they gave you the notice on August 31 then it would be effective September 1.

Let me know if you have any question.
