Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio

My husband and I recieved a call on 1/25/13 and told we were discharged from our doctor's office we have been there for many years,we had an appoinment on 1/29/13 my husband was told the doctor was not coming back 2 mintues later I was told he was on an indifinite leave. I ask about seeing another doctor whom I have seen before at the practice which I have done when I was not able to see my regular doctor. I was told no they are not accepting new patients and no my husband could not.We were told to get another doctor. BIG problem my husband has been on pain medication for a long time. He recevied a letter from our doctor telling him his liver test was abnormal and they would talk at his next appointment which was on 1/7/13 .They changed our appoinments from 1/7/13 to 1/29/13 then called 1/25/13 to say they cancelled our appointments. The other issue is other people we know are being allowed to see another doctor and have not been discharged. We were told we are lovely people and we did nothing wrong which we know we did not do anything. I think it is because of the medication my husband is on he has been trying to get in to see the doctor to find out what is wrong with his liver and to get off the medication. The office could have made an appointment with another doctor for my husband if for nothing more then to check the liver. He can not stop the medication as this could result in death. We are sure the medication caused the liver problem. What can we do?

I think the most important thing is for you to get to a doctor ASAP. I can help you if you want me to start calling on your behalf. Respond to my email or call me directly and I'll do what I can. Once you get another doctor's opinion we can really know what's going on here.
