Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

I cosigned car loan for my son. I know I am liable if he defaults on loan but if he has accident that goes over insurance coverage can I be sued and be liable. My name is not on title.

"Most likely...." if you are not on the title as an owner, and not registered with the DMV as an owner, and are not listed in any way on the insurance policy in question, and your only connection is that of consanguinity and co-signature, then you are likely not responsible for damages in excess of policy limits due to his negligence.
