There are a number of factors to consider when determining the value of a claim. The seriousness of your injuries certainly warrants a significant settlement. What were your total medical bills? How much time did you miss from work? Have you been able to return to work in the same capacity as before the accident? Have you been contacted by the insurance company for the restaurant? As you can see, there are a number of questions that need to be addressed, and the above are just the beginning.

Most importantly for now, when did this accident occur? If it is necessary to file a lawsuit, the law requires that it be filed within two years of the accident.

Adding to Mr. Brandabur's and Mr. Weilbacher's comments. Don't forget that you still have to prove liability on the business to have their insurance company offer anything. Likewise, if you file suit, you must establish liability. An attorney can look at the facts and give you an answer on this.

You have substantial damages, including medical bills (past, present and future), lost wages (past, present and future), impairment to your ability to earn a wage, impairment to your lifestyle and happiness, pain and suffering, and others. Especially when dealing with a traumatic brain injury such as yours, the measure of damages is tricky and possibly very large. Further, statistically speaking, other more debilitating diseases and repurcussions may occur years from now due to the closed head trauma you suffered.
