Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

settling the case

I would like to know something. We had a lawsuit going on for 4 yrs due to my husbands fall at a home we were looking to purchase..Our attorney settled out of court for 10 grand and we ended up with only 2 grand..This is so bad..Isthere anything we can do to get more out of this?My husband is still in pain and the stress is much worse cuz of the pain....

You probably signed a full and final release with the settlement. This means that you would probably have given up all rights to pursue the at-fault party any further for damages. Based upon the facts that you have given, I do not believe that there is anything else you can do.
