What closing costs can I expect to be responsible for on a cash home transaction for a foreclosure?

I think that you are speaking of buying a home that is in foreclosure. It depends on the general practice in your town. In some cities in Ohio, the Seller pays most of the costs, in others, the Buyers pay more. It depends on if there is a broker involved, too. If you hire an attorney, they may be able to better negotiate your closing costs. Attorneys often charge just a small flat fee to represent individuals in a sale or purchase of real estate. If you are buying a foreclosed home, you definitely should at least consult an attorney face-to-face.
