Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Quit Claim Deed and survivorship

I am in a law suit where I am being sued. Even though I feel I've done nothing wrong I'm still scared I may get a judgement against me and they could put a lien against my property. Can I quit claim my property to my mother to avoid this from happening? Should I also have a survivorship so that if anything happens to her the property will come back to me or is there another way to protect my assets?

Since the lawsuit has commenced you generally cannot transfer your assets to avoid collection.
