Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

my husband was rear ended on monday but he also (my husband) didnt have a licenses so he was citied for driving without a licences. the other driver also got citied for hitting him in the rear my husband was hurt. this is his first offense but he has a jugdement against him from about ten years ago from some lady that pulled in our driveway and hit our truck that was broke down and was going to the junk yard the next day. we was on a payment plan with thier insurance companies attroneys office until i got sick with m.s. and i lost my job and we missed one payment they would not except nothing but the full amount which is still 2000 dollars and i dont see how but anyways. i was wondering what is going to happen to him when he goes to court on november 8th cause the only income we have now is my social sercurity he is out of work. we three children is he going to go to jail since we cant afford to pay that jugdment. please let me know i need him to help take care of me thanks

Your question raises a number of issues. It sounds like your husband has a civil judgment against him, and while it may stop him from getting his driver's license, he should not go to jail for that. Now, as for driving without a license, he could be facing jail time depending on prior offenses, but that also sounds unlikely given what you wrote.
