License Reinstaement
my wife is facing a mandatory liscense suspension for 90days. she was involved in a non citeable accident. the other drivers insurance agency is seeking $19,000 in damages. Will her license reinstatement be contingent upon paying this amount back? she has not been ordered legally to do so as of yet. if during a civil trial we can show she was not at fault is she still liable for the damages under ohio law. we were told that a security suspension would be issued regarding her license. this seems unfair considering she was not cited for being at fault.

Her license is suspended for not having insurance = first time 90 days. A separate suspension would occur only if a judgment was obtained for the damage. Certainly, if she wins at civil matter, then the second suspension will not take place.
