Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My dad left my Mom a little money when he passed. I put 15000.00 in my savings account and 10000.00 in a CD in my name. Mom is syill living and doesn't need the money. I would like to divide this up between my 2 brothers and myself. I had another brother who passed away and it states in my Mom's will that his share goes to his 2 daughters. Since we've disowned his 2 girls for personal reasons, can they do anything when my Mom passes if we take the money now.

If your mother is competent and is acting on her own free will, she can distribute that money any way she pleases. Her will does not govern what she can so with the money since the will would only govern what happens at her death. She can give money away as gifts during her lifetime without taking her will into consideration. She does not need to divide the money evenly to any of her children but can distribute the money however way she wants.
