Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

my daughters grandparents passed away recently. her father and his three sibling all receive separate inheritance. He just received the first of five payments. My daughters father passed away two weeks ago. She has a half sister who is 28 years old. Our daughter is still a minor and he owes $30,000 in back child support. Is she entitled to any of his inheritance? he did not have a will and there is talk that his live in girlfriend may receive some of this money. Can she get any of it? Should I get an attorney? Is she entitled to any of his future inheritance payments or do his other siblings get it? He also has a vehicle in his name. The live in girlfriend doesn't want to give my daughter his class ring , inexpensive watch (he always wore) , belt, and leather jacket. Things that have sentimental value only. The day before he died we have texts and voicemails stating he was going to get her a car and pay for her driving classes. I would like to put any money she may receive into a trust fund for college. What should I do?
