Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

The stepmother died in December 2009 she was married to my father for 15 years and had no children. She was only 42 years old so an autopsy was done. While waiting on the autopsy report to come back my father was hit by and automobile and died. There were no wills they owned a home in her name only she had two cars in her name only she had insurance policies and PERS she was a state worker. I have all death certificates of her and my father. We were able to bury my father because we recieved monies from his insurance but her bill remains unpaided also everything would have went to my father so we are his children next of kin. How would we proceed and we have no money. what should we do next? are we entitled to all properties

You will most likely need to have a probate administration for both people. Your step mother's property would pass to your father's estate and then to his heirs.
