Deffered Judgement

I had a court case in Oklahoma in March of '04. I was sentenced deffered judgement. I recently applied for an apartment and was refused due to my record. Why is this showing up all of a sudden? I have applied at several other apartments and no one has mention this to me before. And how would I go about expunging this?
