Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oklahoma

My mothers house

My mother died a few months ago. She and my father

had a house that is paid for with both their names

on the deed. Myself and my 3 brothers and sisters

don't get along with our father and we would like to

sell the house since half of the house is now ours.

He doesn't want to sell. What must we do?

Re: My mothers house

If the property was held in joint tenancy by both

your mother and father, you nor your siblings

have any right to any part of the property.

If it wasn't held in joint tenancy, you cannot force

your father to sell because it is his homestead.
