Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oregon

My three brothers and I are equal heirs to my Mother's home. We are all working together to liquidate the estate. While at the home my brother's girlfriend was verbally abusive and threatening to me. Can I have her permanently removed from the property while I am there?

As a matter of property law, you cannot have her removed. You only own 1/4 of the home and are no more in charge of it that any of your brothers.

If she has indeed been threatening to you, you can go to court and get a restraining order that would ban her from contacting you, at the house or anywhere else. You would have to prove the existence of the threats, however.

All co-sharers have a right of equal enjoyment of property in dispute. You should try to settle the matter amicably.
